Killing Some Myths And Tales in Krakow ...4Developers - The Biggest Conference In JavaLand
I'm already looking forward to the 4Developers conference in Krakow aka JavaLand. I will give a talk with the title "EJB 3.1 - Killing The Top Eleven Myths, Tales and Biases", as well as a workshop: "From Bare OS To Lightweight Java EE 5/6 Application With Patterns And Best Practices". After installing the whole environment in the first few minutes we will build together a "lightweight" real world application. I will try to explain (in English) the best practices and anti patterns in real time. Questions are very welcome.
Btw. I'm looking forward to the polish beer as well (especially zywiec). It is even better, than the one at devoxx :-).

Rss My book: Real World Java EE - Rethinking Best Practices

Do You plan to put you presentation and sources smewhere in the web (e.g. in this blog)? I'm really interested in this topic, but I can't be on 4developers. Audio and video would be great :)

What IDE/server are you going to use during the workshop ? I'am almost sure it will be NetBeans 6.5 with GlassFish but maybe I am wrong ?

@VaNTa
If you can't attend to 4developers, probably you could attend to JDD (also Krakow), JAX (Mainz), WebTech Exchange (London) or CommunityOne in New York :-).
I don't think, that 10 h video with me would be that exciting :-). Lots of code is already opensourced: p4j5.dev.java.net - just check it out. My "demo" code really don't has production quality - but let see...
thanks for your nice suggestion,
adam

Norbert,
you are wrong. I will use Netbeans 6.7m2 - it is lot better than 6.5 - stay tuned :-). GF is a no brainer - it is well integrated. With NB + GF I'm able to setup the whole environment in about 5 minutes on an arbitrary machine. BUT: I have working Eclipse + JBoss environment too - so if you want to see me hacking with Eclipse - no problem as well :-).
regards,
adam
