GlassFish, WebLogic and Oracle's Commitment

I got this comment recently on my blog
During JavaOne Oracle committed officially to Glassfish. WebLogic will also share some core components with Glassfish (HK2, probably EclipseLink, CDI etc.). See also official slides.

Comments:

Weblogic has difficulty to take Websphere market shares (it is bundle with IBM servers, already in place at customer, and so on). GlassFish plays in a different ground, so now Oracle has another weapon to use. With GlassFish Enterprise, Oracle will be able to have new customers/projets and still get some revenue out of it.
