Install JavaFX Application …From Apple's Mac App Store

Probably the first JavaFX / Java application called "Ensemble" is available directly from the Mac App Store.

[The application was taken from the store to fix some glitches, but it should come back soon]

Tip: if you are a developer, there are easier ways to get the Ensemple running on your Mac :-)

Comments:

Hi Adam, it's not avail in the U.S App store - how would you get Ensemble otherwise? Btw, the reason this caught my attention is that Apple is now allowing Java based apps in the Mac App store? When did this policy change?

Our java/swing app has been available from the app store since mid-September. I believe it was the first all-java app approved on the app store: http://infinitekind.com/moneydance-appstore

Our developer, Marco Dinacci, has written up detailed instructions on how to do this yourself:

Cheers,
Sean
