Java EE 5 is even easier than Word
I looked into the OOXML- it comes with around 6000 pages. The new format should replace the old "doc" as well as excel, ppt. It is a good step in the right direction, but 6000 pages? People complain about EJB standard. But even the hardest part (JPA) comes with 256 pages. The ejb-core specification with 562 pages, the whole messaging spec with 140 pages. It's just fun to compare the numbers :-)
