Productive Java EE Workshop - And Already 31 Registered Developers
The workshop "Designing The Boundary - Rich UI Meets Efficient Java EE Backend" in Zurich will definetely take place. There are already 31 registrations - I forgot the size of the room - but in worst-case we will repeat at the next day (as last year - here the 2007 class feedback). I plan to discuss some controversial stuff from this blog and introduce some content of my new book (o'reilly), on which I'm working now. Beyond that - I will try to show your as much source code / working examples as possible. I will try to answer your questions in real time - with source code. I will code and deploy the apps in worst case :-).

Der Workshop-Tag war wirklich sehr spannend. Vor allem deine Erfahrungen aus realen Projekten die in den unzähligen Beispielen gezeigt wurden fand ich sehr wertvoll! Auch die eingestreuten Seitenäste (SOA, Entity Manager in Domänenobjekten, Testen) werden mich in den nächsten Projekten begleiten. Allerdings muss ich mich noch ein bisschen gedulden da meine Bank rund 5 Jahre hinterherhinkt :-(
Apropos Entity Manager im Domänenobjekt @preActivate?? - Kannst Du mir noch den JCR angeben - ich werde sehr gerne eine Email schreiben da mir diese Problemstellung auch schon Kopfzerbrechen bereitet hat um Herrn King zu überzeugen!
