Something real for virtual machine geeks is available - the "Java Difference"

I'm wating for about one year for the availility of  the Sun's SPOT (Small Programmable Object Technology) widget and development environment. Now it is available, but only for US-developers. I'm living in germany, so it is still a problem to get one for me.
SPOT is a device with sensors (accelaration, temparature), input, outputs and networking capability and very tiny VM. I hope it will be available also at JavaONE.
This is probably the coolest gadget since the Java Ring. Such things are the "Java-Difference".

Well, let's hope it's not too much like the java ring since that was never really going anywhere....
