Speed Comparison: yarns vs. npm

Yarn (yarnpkg.com) it the new JavaScript from facebook. Yarn is npm www.npmjs.com compatible, comes with checksums and a lockfile format (yarn.lock). In the following screencast I built the react github.com/AdamBien/react-essential project from the Building React Applications workshop with both: npm and yarn and compared the build performance:
