Sun Tech Days in Frankfurt - the German JavaONE?
I'm already looking forward to the Sun Tech Days conference in Frankfurt (3.12-5.12.2007). What I didn't recognized so far, James Gosling will be the keynote speaker. The sessions are going to be interesting as well:
* Java EE 6 and GlassFish
* Java SE 6 Top 10 features, Java SE 7 and OpenJDK
* Next Generation Web and Java Server Faces
* Consumer JRE: Java on Every Desktop OR Java Performance Myths
* Project Metro and REST: Web Services Everywhere
* Java ME: Extreme GUI Makeover for Mobile Phones
* SOA using OpenESB and JCAP
* Java Scripting: JavaFX Script and JRuby
* Data Binding, Desktop etc.
I will give a whole day workshop about Java EE 5 and serviceorientation at monday - but will focus on real world and not too much on esoterics :-).
I'm already looking forward to meet the other Java Champions, Sun Engineers and friends as well.

Don't forget to come to my technical keynote on Wednesday: "Developing in a Polyglot World" where we will discuss the fact that you can't expect to work with just a single language any more.
