My newest (but german...) book "Enterprise Architekturen" should be available in about 2 weeks. This book explains the development of enterprise applications in pragmatic (I hope) and condensed (this is a fact :-)) way. I tried to cover the whole process - from the analysis to deployment. The idea for this book came in my projects, workshops and trainings, where the participants asked me for things like: architecture template, reuse, architect's role in agile projects etc. I covered also essential knowledge like transactionality, basic patterns and architectural approaches.
Now I'm writing in my leisure a chapter for a SOA-study and Java EE 5 architectures book.
