The Ingredients of Java EE 8

Java EE 8 started with a community survey, some ideas and a meeting during JavaOne 2013 [slides].

Meanwhile the Java EE 8 contents settled down and the JSR work started. Java EE 8 comprises the following JSRs / APIs:

All the specs above are run in transparent mode. The recent JCP JSR editions are maintained in according to the transparency rules what means: mailing lists, wikis and issues tracker have to be publicly available.
