Useful Catalog of JavaEE 5-7 Schemas

This useful site: http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jsc/xml/ns/javaee/index.html lists all popular schemas for JavaEE 5 to 7 version.

However, XML deployment descriptors are rather unusual in JavaEE 5/6/7, so if you are using the reference site above frequently it may indicate a slight over engineering :-)

See you at Java EE Workshops at MUC Airport!

A book about rethinking Java EE Patterns

Comments:

the less XML, the better

BUT: personally i don't like to look for all occurences of @Servlet to find all registered servlets. in this case i am friend of web-xml and web-fragment-xmls.

greetings

I was just looking for those schemas, in order to try to adapt a third-party (unsupported) J2EE application to be deployed in a Java EE 6 compliant application server. Thanks!
